Medic Grow UV + FR 4 ft Supplemental Bar LED Grow Light

This 4-foot supplemental Bar LED is designed to deliver targeted UV and far-red (FR) light as an add-on to your main grow lighting setup. The UV portion helps suppress pests and mold while enhancing plant compounds, flavor and aroma—reported yield improvements of ~5-10% are quoted. Meanwhile, the far-red light (700-800 nm) activates the Emerson Effect, boosting photosynthetic efficiency, accelerating growth and increasing flower size. Supplemental Spectrum: Specifically provides UV and Far Red (FR) light to supplement a main full-spectrum fixture. Yield Boost: The light is advertised to boost overall yields by approximately 5%-10%. Quality Enhancement: UV light increases the concentration of plant compounds, enhancing flavor and aroma. Efficiency Driver: FR light stimulates the Emerson Effect, which increases photosynthetic efficiency and speeds up growth. Compatibility: Designed to be compatible exclusively with Medic Grow LED Grow Lights. Because it’s supplemental rather than a full spectrum fixture, it’s meant to augment an existing LED grow light system rather than replace it. It’s compact, lightweight and offers a relatively affordable plug-in upgrade path for growers wanting the benefits of UV + FR without switching their main fixture. The 1-year warranty and >10,000 hour lifespan suggest modest durability.
