Origin
Guanabana takes its name from the guanábana (soursop), a tropical fruit known for its sweet-and-sour, creamy flavor — a nod to the strain’s fruity, tropical aroma. It is a feminized hybrid bred from a cross of Amnesia Haze x White Widow, pairing Amnesia Haze’s euphoric, cerebral high with White Widow’s heavy resin production and sturdy structure. The result is a sativa-dominant hybrid (60% Sativa / 40% Indica) with a distinctive fruity profile and reliable, high-yielding plants.
Guanabana Strain Sativa or Indica?
Is a fascinating hybrid that often sparks the question: Is it Sativa or Indica? The answer lies in its balanced genetics, combining the uplifting effects of Sativa with the relaxing properties of Indica, 60% Sativa / 40% Indica. This hybrid nature makes it versatile, appealing to a broad range of users. Guanabana strain seeds grow into plants that exhibit both Sativa and Indica traits, offering a well rounded experience.
Its Sativa side is evident in the cerebral high and creativity boost it provides, making it a great choice for daytime use. Conversely, the Indica genetics contribute to a soothing body relaxation, ideal for unwinding in the evening. This dual effect is a testament to the meticulous breeding that goes into creating Guanabana strain, ensuring that it meets diverse user needs while maintaining its unique identity.
Guanabana Effects

On the Indica side, Guanabana strain offers soothing and calming effects, making it suitable for evening use or for those seeking relief from stress and anxiety. Germinating Guanabana strain seeds
It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our Guanabana strain seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
