Origin
CBD Diesel (1:1) is a balanced hybrid with a rich heritage rooted in the iconic Diesel family. Bringing the classic Diesel profile into a CBD-rich version, it balances CBD and THC in a 1:1 ratio.
Built on Critical Mass and AK-47 genetics, it yields two very different phenotypes: one high in CBD (1:1) and another with more THC than CBD (1:0). It also draws traits from Diesel, Cannatonic, Skunk #1 and Afghan Kush.
This robust lineage delivers a distinctive combination of flavors and effects. CBD Diesel (1:1) feminized seeds are celebrated for their consistent quality and stability, a favorite among cultivators and enthusiasts alike.
CBD Diesel Sativa or Indica?
CBD Diesel (1:1) leans to the sativa side (60% Sativa / 40% Indica), offering uplifting, energizing effects. Its sativa dominance shows in a clear, cerebral stimulation, ideal for anyone seeking focus and daytime use without heavy sedation.
Its genetics still ensure a balanced experience, pairing that sativa lift with a subtle indica relaxation. Combined with its high CBD content, that sativa-leaning nature makes CBD Diesel (1:1) a versatile choice for a range of needs.

Germinating CBD Diesel seeds
It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.
Before removing our CBD Diesel (1:1) seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil.
Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
CBD Diesel (1:1) Flowering Time
CBD Diesel (1:1) has a relatively quick flowering time, typically 8-10 weeks to mature. That makes it an appealing option for growers seeking a fast turnaround without compromising quality or yield.
The strain thrives in a range of environments, delivering dense, resin-coated buds. Its genetics ensure a stable, productive flowering period, a rewarding choice for growers of all experience levels.
How to grow CBD Diesel (1:1) strain?
CBD Diesel (1:1) can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are robust and moderately easy to grow, we should always prevent any pests.
You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your CBD Diesel (1:1) buds.
Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
Thanks to the experience of our customers with CBD Diesel (1:1), we know that we can increase yields by up to 20%.
The strain works well in a controlled environment with a SOG setup, but keep in mind that it is taller than most, with an average height of 5 to 6 feet. If you plan to grow our CBD seeds outdoors, we have developed a SOG for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.
Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients as seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period.
When you grow outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where the plants receive the most hours of sunshine.
If you prefer to grow indoors, use good tents, textile pots, led lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air and, of course, a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law.
Keep daytime temperatures between 68-80 ℉ and nighttime temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.
CBD plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase, reduce it to around 40% during flowering and to about 30% by harvest.
Outdoors, breeders in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid October. Healthy CBD Diesel (1:1) seeds produce about 1.76 – 3.53 oz/plant | 50 – 100 g/plant of buds each.
Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 8 – 10 weeks and produce about 1.47 – 1.97 oz/ft² | 450 – 600 gr/m².
Ideal Climate for Growing
CBD Diesel (1:1) thrives in a warm, temperate climate, ideal for producing high-quality cannabinoid content. The optimal temperature range is 70-80 ℉ (21-27 ℃). Good sunlight is crucial, as it maximizes photosynthesis and strengthens plant structure, and keeping humidity around 40-60% helps prevent mold and pests during the season. Together these conditions create the perfect environment for healthy growth and robust flower production.
In the United States, several states suit CBD Diesel well. California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado and Florida offer warm, sunny weather and extended growing periods, while Texas, Nevada and North Carolina provide the right combination of warmth and humidity. Growing in these regions lets cultivators make the most of the environment for a successful harvest that showcases the strain’s unique genetics.
What does the strain smell like?
The buds of CBD Diesel (1:1) are rock hard, soaked in resin and carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes.
Its taste and flavor are a blend of citrus, pine and skunk notes over a pungent, fuel-like Diesel base. CBD Diesel makes a delicious, smooth smoke and delivers a happy experience with a good dose of energy. Thanks to its large resin production, it is an ideal strain for high quality extracts and concentrates.
